My mission is simple. I want to listen to our constituents, understand the issues and challenges we face, and then try my best to help find reasonable solutions. The third district uniquely serves both the city and the county. In knowing that, I will be the best partner possible for the City of Richmond Hill at the Bryan County Commission.
About Chris Raiford
A little bit about me....
I was born and raised in a law enforcement family on the south side of Atlanta. As the first in my family to attend college, I earned my undergraduate education from the University of Georgia. I then earned my M.B.A and recently completed my PhD in Management. I am currently the Vice President and City Leader for a small community bank in Richmond Hill. I also serve as a Planning and Zoning Commissioner for the City.
I feel genuinely blessed to have a wonderful family. My wife and three children are the 'why' behind everything that I do. I cherish them deeply and try to be the best Husband and Father possible. Coming from a civic minded family, I have a deep passion to serve my community. I have served for numerous years on several local charitable boards, most recently as Past President of the Exchange Club of Richmond Hill; the groups primary mission being the prevention of child abuse. I believe those who have the ability to help, also have the responsibility to help.

Our Focus
The primary objective for this campaign is to simply serve the Third District of Bryan County with compassion and understanding. I want to better understand what issues and concerns our citizens have regarding our county. We are the fastest growing county in the state an with that growth, comes challenges. I want to know what our people want their elected officials focusing their efforts on. Only by gaining that specific understanding, can we truly lead.
